The Tura Beach Photography Club's aim is to
bring together people who enjoy their photography so we can all share our skills
and experience and create better pictures. This is a photography club and the focus is on photography rather than cameras. Everyone is welcome at every level of skill from novice to as far as you want to go. Regardless of whether you take photos with a phone, a simple point and shoot camera or an interchangeable lens camera, you will be welcome.
Activities of the club include:
- field trips;
- talks from professional photographers and those with special interests;
- sharing of resources e.g. magazines and books;
- exhibitions and competitions;
- friendly and constructive critiques from members about each
other's photos; and
- anything else that will improve our photography skills
and/or increase our enjoyment of photography as a hobby.
Joining the club is easy, just contact one of the organisers and then come along to one of our meetings.
Membership is a small $10 fee which will cover at least one year of membership. This fee goes towards ongoing costs associated with club activities.
